A Great Business Blog

I must apologise for not posting my regular ‘Blog of the Week’ for the last couple of weeks, but with the lead up to our impending Academy launch in the both the UK & US I have been flat out. However, I will make a concerted effort to get back on top of my Friday post and start flagging those fabulous blogs out there that should be on your reading list.

This weeks offering is one of my firm favourites and has been on my list for a long time. You may or may not have heard of Suzi Dafnis, but she is a very accomplished entrepreneur who herself once ran an events company in the US called Pow Wow Events. Amongst her other accomplishments are running a publishing company, being on the judging panel of Channel 7′s ‘The Dragons’ Den’ in 2005 and heading up the Australian Business Women’s Network. Her blog, herBusiness, is the official blog of the ABN and provides business mentoring for women, information and business education for female business owners.

Recently herBusiness has featured a great initiative called ’30 Days of Social Media’ which started on October 1 and carries on throughout the month with daily posts about social media and how to grow your network. I have logged on daily to read the posts and found them really insightful and facsinating. In an age when we are all so time poor we really need to make a concerted effort to join in the revolution that is Social Media.

There are many reasons to read this blog daily, too many to mention here. If you do nothing else new this week then make sure you add this blog to your regular reading list. It is a great place to go if you don’t have time to do the traditional form of networking, and you will pick up some really good tips along the way.
