eventology2010_logoFor those of you who are stuck for something to do in April then think again. The Eventology 2010 conference for wedding professionals is being held in Indianapolis and promises to be a great event. With plenty of networking opportunities and an educational program that is both in-depth and engaging it is an event not to be missed. For us planners over here in Australia there are yet to be conferences of this style and calibre available to us, but if you consider yourself to be a serious event professional then you really should try and plan to attend. It might mean forgoing your usual 1 week holiday to Queensland this year and heading to the US instead to mix a little business with pleasure.

The program will be led by 5 highly successful industry professionals whose skills and expertise will help you to move your business to another level. The subjects covered include:

  • Building Your Team:  From Interns to Associates
  • Priced to Sell!  Cultivating Your Service Offerings
  • The Art of Wedding Design:  Innovative Designs and Trends
  • Geek is Chic:  Tech Tools for Your Wedding Business
  • Brand Success! Brand Building and Brand Strategy

It is your chance to look at the business end of weddings rather than the planning end. As I have said many times on this blog, running a wedding planning business is very different to planning a wedding. By attending an event of this type you will be learning from women who already have already walked in your shoes and have been successful and will have many pearls of wisdom to share with you. As in most businesses you can never stop learning and that is just as true in wedding planning as it is in any other.

When: April 19-20, 2010

Where: Indianapolis, Indiana at the Omni Severin Hotel

Cost: $380 Early-Bird; $480 after

For more details on how to register please visit the Eventology website.
