What are you Wearing

I always have a little giggle when I am asked this question (and when I ask it myself); it so reminds me of being 20, but I guess, no matter what age we are, many of us need some re-assurance that what we are wearing is right.
As Wedding and Event Planners, getting our look ‘right’ can be a little tricky. We want to convey professionalism, creativity and a sense of our own style, but our clothes also need to ‘work’ with us as we make our way through our day. When managing an event your day may move from a meeting with stakeholders, to getting behind the wheel of a mini-van to drive delegates from one venue to another, to needing to climb up a ladder to check on an event design installation. Not to mention the long days which mean the one outfit may have to take you from a breakfast meeting to an evening function. Finding an outfit that can do all of that and be stylish is not easy, which is why I love it when I come across designers who really understand women’s bodies and the things we need them to do! Brisbane based designer Sacha Drake is one such designer.
Known for her dresses, Sacha Drake now has a range of stretch basics which I adore. Her pieces are an excellent choice for those of us who need our clothes to look as good as they move.
