Business in a Box

October 22, 2009 by · 1 Comment

We speak to alot potential Planners through the Academy of Wedding and Event Planning and for many their main fear is starting their own business. They shudder at the thought of being out there on there own without anyone else to turn to when things get tough. It is certainly quite a daunting thought and one that has crossed my mind one or two times during my career. However, the good definately outweighs the bad, it is just a question of taking that leap of faith. So, at the Academy, we have come up with a idea to hopefully help many of these planners take that first step, but with a helping hand. Our solution is called ‘Business in a Box’.

The Wedding Boot Camp, our sister company, is a marketing tool that we use to help our graduating students to find work for their business. It is not a franchise it is merely a wedding planning service offered throughout Australia, that brides come to for help and advice in planning their wedding. We don’t plan any weddings ourselves we simply pass all the leads and consultation bookings generated through to our Business in a Box consultants for a small monthly fee. We advertise extensively with The Knot Australia, Easy Weddings, Wedding.com.au and receive alot of Media attention too. We were recently featured in the Herald Sun in an article regarding wedding trends. To view the article click here.

So if you have a genuine love of weddings and events and would love to run your own wedding planning business then this could be your answer. If the thought of launching your own business makes your knees shake, wishing someone was there to hold your hand and advise you on the best way to do things, then stop worrying. If you are nervous about the expense of building a website, paying for advertising and getting clients through the door, don’t be. Let someone else take care of all the above so you can focus on planning weddings and event. Stop procrastinating and take that step. Have a look at Business in a Box. There are 3 different levels of involvement to suit every budget.

This solution has been a long time in the making and is in response to the comments and feedback from our students. So join the revolution and become a part of the team of consultants in Australia benefitting from Business in a Box.
