Fresh from her stint in the UK as the Sustainability Manager for the producer of Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds Festivals, and working on sustainability issues for Live Earth India and the London Marathon, Meegan Jones has launched her first book in Australia. The book includes case studies, tips and ideas from big name events from around the world and locally, including the Big Day Out, Woodford Folk Festival and Splendour in the Grass.
Matt Grant, Festival and Creative Director for the Peats Ridge Festival said the book is; “Possibly one of the most important books written on event management this decade, a must have for organisers of events everywhere.” (Spice News Feb, 2010).
Jones has a 20 year career in the industry and has spent the past few years developing sustainability in event management.
