Go Wild – Perth Zoo

February 18, 2010 by · 1 Comment

perth-zoo1If you are looking for a unique event venue for events in  Perth and think something a little offbeat and even ‘wild’ may suit your client, consider Perth Zoo; our featured venue of the week.

Although a small zoo by Australian standards, Perth Zoo is big on attractions and spirit.  Located just 5 minutes from Perth CBD on the banks of the Swan River, the Zoo is open every day of the year and may be the perfect location for your next event.

With a number of different locations within the zoo where events can be held, it offers a good range of options considering its size and that its focus is on ‘zoo exhibits’ not events.

If you manage Corporate Events, product launches or team building meetings you will find that the Conference Centre is well serviced and suitable for smaller scale events.  For a virtual tour of the Conference Centre, click here.  The Perth Zoo Conference Centre will accommodate between 10 and 120 guests and the team at the Centre will help you with set-up, AV and catering.  With two seminar rooms, a lecture theatre and the Japanese Garden and Outdoor Amphitheatre for casual sessions, the Zoo offers a tranquil setting that contrasts with the traditional Conference setting.

Wedding Ceremonies with up to 120 guests can be held in the Japanese Gardens and smaller weddings of up to 80 guests can be set up in the Homestead Barn.  When it comes to Weddings the Zoo provides a great atmosphere for guests and an ideal location for photo opportunities; perhaps the perfect location for the younger bride and groom looking to inject a bit of novelty into their Wedding.
More event options and details can be found here.

For further information contact ‘Events’ at the zoo and for menu options, quotes or bookings for catering please call Mustard Catering on (08) 9367 6331, fax (08) 9474 1566 or visit www.mustardcatering.com.au.
